Ordered this from Amazon.com. Connected it to my PS3 Slim. The picture quality is crisp and perfect. This projector is very light which allows multiple options for mounting, ceiling/wall etc. Hardly creates any noise, would recommend it to others in a heartbeat. All in all, great product for the price.

Lastly, Amazon is promoting this as a 120hz, it is not the same as a 120hz tv. 120hz is only available through vga cable and at a certain resolution. Don’t expect the 120z while using a blu-ray. I didn’t take off a star because the manufacturer doesn’t advertise it as a feature, just Amazon.

Some of this merits explaining. Sports gamma is the brightest of the three available gamma curves. Unlike the same mode on other projectors, it has very little green push. It’s also good about adding definition to the blacks without messing with the black point. I compensated for the green with a slight tint adjustment.

Beyond image quality, certain features aid in placement flexibility. A generous zoom range allows the projector to display a range of image sizes at a particular distance, or the same image size while moving the projector. Lens shift allows the projected image to be moved without moving the projector or incurring keystone distortion. These features are more common in LCD projectors than DLP.

Ease-of-use. One of the things I was hesitant about when dumping my LCD TV for a projector was that I’ve had friends that have owned projectors and it was just a maintenance nightmare with so many things to worry about and things going wrong. The picture is perfect with the lights on or off even in Eco mode. The other location is a very large wall in the living room that the back ground is Maroon. This projector throws the picture 30 feet across the room and makes an image that can be from 20 foot to 28 feet wide. Even on the Red wall the color is amazing (except for the reds which are ummm… extra red 
. For the money this is better than any TV.

The brightness is more than adequate. The use I purchased it for was in a small church (less than 100 people with a very low ceiling and a side wall of windows). I installed at night – and the ‘cinema’ setting, or living room setting was stellar. We use the dynamic view in general, as it is the brightest, but for home use, the less intense, bulb and energy saving modes would be perfect.( Mirage )
